Dr. Oz, June 13, 2013, has a new recipe for his green energy drink today and it promises to get you more energized than ever before. Dr. Robynne Chutkan is on the show to talk about enzymes and our health. Did you know that over 70% of your immune system is in your digestive track? It is and this is one of the reasons many naturalistic doctors are saying we need to keep our gut in working order to prevent disease. Enzymes break down the food we eat and extract the nutrients that power our body. They also help us fight off diseases.
Dr. Chutkan gives us the main symptoms that may point to an enzyme deficiency in our body. They are Bloating, Constipation, Diarrhea, Floating stool, Dull skin, Hair loss or hair thinning, Rashes, Weak nails, Fatigue, Headaches, Insomnia, and Mood swings. If you have any of these for prolonged periods of time, then you may have an enzyme deficiency. To counteract aging and other ways we lose enzymes, we need to replenish them by eating things like papaya, Sauerkraut, and other fermented foods like Kim Chi.
Tony LeRoy is on the show today to talk about developing your sixth sense so you can diagnose your own problems before you go to a doctor. He claims he can see the problems people have just by looking at them and touching them. Oz puts him to the test with a few volunteers from his audience and he is right on each one. Maybe there is something that we can tune in our minds to recognize disease.
